Ciara, who did not perform but did present El Debarge, looked great in her red leather tube dress and spine heels from Dsquared? Fall 2010 collection. Slightly different from its appearance on the runway, where the gathered detail looked something like a rose, Ciara chose to let the detail just hang and removed the belt. For this stunning outfit she gets the best dressed title hands down.

Runner up for the chance to be dubbed BET Awards best dressed was Nia Long. Gracing the stage with former co star Larenz Tate (Love Jones) as presenters, Nia looked absolutely chic in her strapless Gucci Spring 2010 dress. Definitely worthy of best dressed runner up.

A breath taking Kim Kardashian, who was one of the presenters for the 38^th Annual FiFi Awards on June 10^th, showed off her shape in a Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 gown. Just stunning!

Halle Berry, the recipient of the Women’s Popular Appeal Award, wore a form fitting tan dress revealing just a tad of her six pack that was just absolutely gorgeous!

A just recently pregnant Leelee Sobieski, also a presenter for the evening, showed off her post baby body in black spaghetti strapped dress with a thigh high split.

These women looked amazing! They don’t call the FiFi Awards the “Oscars of the fragrance industry” for nothing.

Nominated for her role on ABCs hit show, Cougar Town, Cox’s decision to don Beckham’s design brought a breath of fresh air to the red carpet.

Carrie Underwood is really coming into her own. We absolutely love this netted cocktail dress with a simple black clutch. Unique, eye-catching, and classy.

Taylor Swift looks great in everything.

Not everyone can look glamorous in a minidress (see Kirsten Stewart’s minidress here). But Taylor Swift looks like a lady no matter what she wears – and we love her in this white cocktail-mini.

Not the most flattering gown for Kelly Rutherford

We want to like Kelly Rutherford’s evening gown…really, we do. In fact, we love it from the waist down – but the top half…we just don’t find it flattering.

For whatever reason, we kind of forgot about J. Lo in recent months. That is, until she performed in a skin-tight bodysuit on New Year’s Eve – wowzers!

Flash forward a few days and Jennifer Lopez is ELLE’s February 2009 cover model. As part of the coverage, ELLE put together an ensemble article of Jennifer Lopez’s outfits. Included are some of Jennifer Lopez’s best red carpet dresses, among them, her stunningly-slitted Versace gown (worn at the 1998 Grammy’s). In fact, this was the dress that got us interested in red carpet fashion!

Penelope Cruz in Vintage Chanel

Once again, Penelope Cruz proves that the latest fashion isn’t always the greatest (we named Cruz best dressed of 2009 for her awesome 1950 Balmain gown).

At the premiere of Rob Marshall’s Nine, Cruz arrived on the red carpet wearing a gorgeous (1970s era?) Chanel goddess gown – accessorized with a feathered black clutch. After a series of tremendous fashion “hits”, we’re beginning to wonder who Ms. Cruz’s stylist is…and we officially can’t wait to see her during next month’s award season.

Kate Hudson looks glam in Chanel

Kate Hudson arrived at the red carpet premiere of Nine in a beaded Chanel minidress, followed by a lengthy train. We’re loving this look (even more than Sienna Miller’s Balmain minidress) – I mean seriously…who wears a train these days? Kate Hudson does, and that’s why she is always among the best dressed celebs on the red carpet.

Nice work Kate – we can’t wait to see what you wear to the Oscars.

Either Beyonce Knowles has the best personal style of any celebrity in the biz, or she has the best team of stylists (or some combination thereof). This girl can do no wrong (see our feature on Beyonce’s red carpet dresses).

Ms. Sasha Fierce cleaned up last week at the European Music Awards, taking home Best Song, Best Video, and Best Female Vocalist. Add our unofficial Best Dressed nomination to that list, because Beyonce looked stunning in a metallic, curve-hugging gown by Atelier Versace.

Reese Witherspoon was at her absolute best (seriously…when’s the last time your saw her looking this good) at the 9th Annual Avon Foundation for Women gala. Decked out in a gorgeously strapless Spring 2010 Narciso Rodriguez dress, Witherspoon put other attendees to shame – well, maybe not shame…but she was certainly among the evening’s best dressed.
