The 2009 Grammy Awards,was full of great performances, but the most memorable act of the night is the one that didn’t happen. Nominees Rihanna and Chris Brown were scheduled to perform at the Staples Center in L.A., but were nowhere to be found.
Rihanna was allegedly heard fighting with boyfriend Chris Brown on Saturday night (February 7) – at one point calling 911 during the fight. Rihanna was later taken to a medical center in LA with bruises and bite marks on her face and arms. Unfortunately, Rihanna had to cancel her upcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur as well as her 21st birthday party. What happens to Chris Brown remains to be seen.
