Guess who has been chosen for PETA’s 2009 Worst-Dressed Celebrity award? It’s none other than Madonna. The pop idol, who won the Elle Style Icon Award in 2007, got the most votes to top PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) #@$! list.
Next on the list were Olsen twins, Kate-Mary and Ashley. Other Hollywood personalities in the Top Ten include Liz Hurley, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kate Moss and the celebrity couple, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
Despite numerous anti-fur campaigns worldwide, it seems as if many Hollywood celebrities are still indifferent. PETA expressed hope that this Worst Dressed ‘award’ might open their eyes to the “truth about fur”.
