We at RCDresses have never read a Twilight book (or seen the film), so whenever we see Kirsten Stewart or Rob Pattison – we’re judging through a clear lens.
Today, we came across event photos from the L.A. premiere of Twilight: New Moon. Kirsten Stewart hit the red carpet in what-should-have-been a stunning Oscar de la Renta (Resort 2010) gown. Alas, look fell flat.
Our theory – Kirsten Stewart can’t do glamour (yet). The 19-year old actress who has defined her look with jeans, tees, and an unflattering mullet is just too rebellious to be glamorous. Once Stewart finds herself, she may graduate to a more refined fashion sense, but for the time being, Stewart is at her best in rebellious and youthful attire (see sexified minidress from Adventureland premiere below).
