In addition, FFF will premiere its new fashion focused web series. The series will feature content from well know fashion contributors, as well as fashion week shows, parties and an inside glimpse into the daily grinds of up and coming designers. Sundance will kick off Fashion Week with a party to celebrate the designers from their web series, “Catwalk Countdown”. Nominated for her role on ABCs hit show, Cougar Town, Cox’s decision to don Beckham’s design brought a breath of fresh air to the red carpet.

If this is a preview of what Mrs. Beckham’s line has to offer, the future looks pretty bright!

What a bummer.

In fact, we’re only awarding the entire red carpet showing 2.5 stars. And by 2.5 stars, we’re not talking about some arbitrary rating system – only two-and-a-half celebrities knew how to dress themselves! Our thoughts:

Carrie Underwood's netted dress is a win!

Carrie Underwood is really coming into her own. We absolutely love this netted cocktail dress with a simple black clutch. Unique, eye-catching, and classy.

Taylor Swift looks great in everything.

Not everyone can look glamorous in a minidress (see Kirsten Stewart’s minidress here). But Taylor Swift looks like a lady no matter what she wears – and we love her in this white cocktail-mini.

Not the most flattering gown for Kelly Rutherford

We want to like Kelly Rutherford’s evening gown…really, we do. In fact, we love it from the waist down – but the top half…we just don’t find it flattering.

For whatever reason, we kind of forgot about J. Lo in recent months. That is, until she performed in a skin-tight bodysuit on New Year’s Eve – wowzers!

Flash forward a few days and Jennifer Lopez is ELLE’s February 2009 cover model. As part of the coverage, ELLE put together an ensemble article of Jennifer Lopez’s outfits. Included are some of Jennifer Lopez’s best red carpet dresses, among them, her stunningly-slitted Versace gown (worn at the 1998 Grammy’s). In fact, this was the dress that got us interested in red carpet fashion!

J. Lo is truly a red carpet icon and deserves a place in the red carpet hall of fame. We highly recommend you check out ELLE’s article (while we work to create a proper tribute).

Penelope Cruz in Vintage Chanel

Once again, Penelope Cruz proves that the latest fashion isn’t always the greatest (we named Cruz best dressed of 2009 for her awesome 1950 Balmain gown).

At the premiere of Rob Marshall’s Nine, Cruz arrived on the red carpet wearing a gorgeous (1970s era?) Chanel goddess gown – accessorized with a feathered black clutch. After a series of tremendous fashion “hits”, we’re beginning to wonder who Ms. Cruz’s stylist is…and we officially can’t wait to see her during next month’s award season.

Kate Hudson looks glam in Chanel

Kate Hudson arrived at the red carpet premiere of Nine in a beaded Chanel minidress, followed by a lengthy train. We’re loving this look (even more than Sienna Miller’s Balmain minidress) – I mean seriously…who wears a train these days? Kate Hudson does, and that’s why she is always among the best dressed celebs on the red carpet.

Nice work Kate – we can’t wait to see what you wear to the Oscars.

Zoe Saldana is consistently among the best dressed in Hollywood

Wow! Zoe Saldana arrived to the red carpet premiere of James Cameron’s Avatar in an-ultra formfitting evening gown by Roland Mouret. The Star Trek star is fast establishing herself as one of the best dressed women in Hollywood. Frankly, we can’t wait to see what she ears to this year’s Academy Awards.

Revealing...yet just long enough...

We absolutely love Natalie Portman in this stunning cobalt blue Jason Wu minidress. The actress was spotted on the red carpet premiere of her latest film, Brothers, a modern-era war drama focused on the U.S. engagement in Afghanistan.
