NY Fashion Week just got a whole lot more interesting! This year, Sundance Channel will employ its acumen for recognizing and honoring emerging talent in film to the fashion world by unveiling Full Frontal Fashion, its multiplatform fashion programming. FFF combines on air and online content to give us a peek at what goes on in the multi million dollar industry behind the red carpet.

In addition, FFF will premiere its new fashion focused web series. The series will feature content from well know fashion contributors, as well as fashion week shows, parties and an inside glimpse into the daily grinds of up and coming designers. Sundance will kick off Fashion Week with a party to celebrate the designers from their web series, “Catwalk Countdown”. Here is a look at the Sundance Cannel’s premiere NY Fashion Week broadcast and webcast schedule:

Broadcast series

  • “Saville Row,” a series exploring the challenges facing Saville Row in the 21st Century
  • “The Red Carpet Issue,” which looks at the transformation of the red carpet ceremony from a private event into a media phenomenon and multi-million dollar business

Web series

  • “Catwalk Countdown,” follows ten of the most exciting up-and-coming U.S. designers as they get ready for their New York Fashion Week collections, including video, photos and behind-the-scenes access. Designers featured include Vena Cava, Erin Fetherston and Chris Benz
  • Dirty Denim,” a five-episode web series created a directed by Douglas Keeve that highlights the high-end denim industry’s rife with stealing, copying and espionage
